Faux Silk Morning Glory

This is the card I made for today's Try a New Technique Challenge. Faux Silk with a POP. I really like the faux silk look, but I didn't get the pop I wanted so I did some extra coloring and sponging. Here is what I did.
Base card Elegant Eggplant.
Next layer is Whisper White.
Next is a layer of DCWV from Old World Stack.
My image layer:
Stamped Morning Soft morning glory on a piece of tissue paper. Let dry.
Next, crumple and roll in a ball.
Carefully unroll image.
Stamp the same image on Whisper White CS. Cut out the portion you want to pop.
Take a glue stick and cover piece of light or white cs, put your cut portion of the image on this and then layer the tissue paper over the top of that. Line it up exactly. Keep the wrinkles in, that's the faux silk look.
I did all of that, but I colored the bottom image hoping it would show through the tissue paper more than it did. So, I colored the tissue paper image with SU Markers. Then I sponged around the edges with Elegant Eggplant.
Layered this on Whisper White, and then on Elegant Eggplant.
Added jewels, bow and faux pearls.
I really like the look of this... And will be using this technique again and again.. I think it made this card look very Victorian..
Anyway, thanks for looking..
