Project Life Farm Cover Page ~ Stuck On U Sketches Project Life Layout

Hello everyone..  I hope you are doing well this Monday morning..  Today we have a new challenge over at Stuck On U Sketches..  We are now doing Project Life layouts every 2 weeks and we would love for you to play along...  The twist is we will ask you to add something special to your layout..

I know, I know, my layout is not the "traditional" Project Life layout because I didn't use a "kit".  But that's okay you don't have to go out and buy any of the kits, but if you want to, by all means do so!!! I just have so much scrapbook supplies I refuse to buy any more.. So I am using what I already have.  

Okay, so my husband really wanted me to do a scrapbook on our farm and I feel like the PL (Project Life) style will be perfect for this album.. So this is what I come up with and I really like the way it turned out..

Adore ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge (Bird)

Hi everyone!!!  Hope you are having a great Friday!!  Since a couple of my fingers on my left hand are still  taped together and will be for the next 5 weeks until I get my next x-ray my posts will be rather short, at least until then..

Mommy to-be in Disguise ~ SOUS Die Cut Challenge

Hi everyone!!!!  It's Friday and that means we have a new Die Cut challenge reveal over at Stuck On U Sketches.  This weeks theme was chosen by Co-Leader Leah and it is....

"MOM"

Use a die cut of

or a woman...silhouette of a woman, etc.

I thought long and hard about what I would create for this challenge....  I told myself at the beginning that even though you can make any kind of project you want for this challenge, I was going to continue making scrapbook layouts since I am so far behind..... So, with that said I remembered this photo that my daughter uploaded on her FB page when she was pregnant with little Blake last summer...  Her friend (Stephanie) painted this cute little monkey holding a bar-bell (since she is a weight trainer) on her tummy and it turned out sooooo cute... and then I remembered the song "Judy in Disguise" by John Fred & His Playboy Band and well, you can see the results...  I'm really happy with it.  This will be added to little GS Blake's Album....

Fashionista in training ~ Stuck On U Sketches Sketch Challenge ~ Chosen as a Top 3 over at Lasting Memories!!

Hi everyone!!!  I hope all is well....  I've been away on a mini vacation with my husband...  He had a seminar in Houston and asked me if I wanted to tag along with him...  I jumped at the opportunity and so glad I did...  There was a mall just across the street and we had our own sky walk from the hotel to mall....  I loved it... and I got in a lot of walking!!   They didn't have a scrapbook store, but hey, you can't have it all!!! 

This week we have a great sketch  over at Stuck On U Sketches created by our Co-Leader.... actually it's a 2 pager....  

Remember, on a 2 pager you can do the left side, right side, or both sides...  The option is yours!!!!

I decided to do just the RIGHT SIDE...  and I chose a photo of Granddaughter Savannah taken December, 2012..  It was at the Courthouse Square in downtown Lockhart, Texas... They were having a Christmas Bazaar and while she was there she had her face painted...  It turned out great and she was so happy with the results.....

Grandma... there's something in the water!!! SOUS Die Cut Challenge ~ CHOSEN AS A WINNER OVER AT GO FISH CHALLENGE!!

Hi everyone!!  I hope you are all well today...  And since it's Friday we have another fun die cut challenge for you over at Stuck On U Sketches!!  Today's challenge is from Co-Leader Nanne and she's kinda made it easy for you by giving you a theme to work with for this challenge.....

and that theme is......

 Rrrrrrr ye "SEA" worthy?

anything to do with the sea ( for example: fish, seaweed, treasure, boats, etc.. etc.. etc..) 

I told you it was easy.... :o)

So for my layout I decided to go way back in my archived photos and picked a couple of cute photos of Granddaughter Savannah taken back on July 8, 2008...  At that age she didn't want her swimming water dirty in any way...  no dirt, leaves, sticks, pebbles or anything else in her wadding pool.  It's pretty safe to say that a little dirt must have gotten in it and she was pretty upset!!    The expression on her face is priceless...
