Poor little Colten doesn't have near the layouts that his big sister Savannah does, so I decided to make it into a little "guy" layout.. But be assured I will be using this one again for one of those girly girl layouts, too.
But for now we are takin' about this "mocho" one. lol I absolutely love the Basic Grey papers, and I pulled out some heavy duty "hardware" to use with it. The photo is of little GS Colten taken at the end of January, 2010 , by The Smile House there in San Marcos.. Laura Kay Wootan did another fabulous job on this photo.. This is one of my favorites, but then I say that about all of 'em...lol..
Alrighty now, here's the scrappy stuff I used on it:
SU Night of Navy CS
SU More Mustard SC
Basic Grey ~ Granola/Trail Mix PP (I love the colors in this paper)
It Take Two ~ Blue Scallop layer
Brown Sugar Textured CS
The Paper Studio ~ Dark Denim
The Paper Studio ~ Burlap
Dark Brown Polka Dot ~ Strips (from scrap stash)
Black Ric-Rac Borders
We R Memory Keepers ~ Antique Copper Letters
We R Memory Keepers ~ Antique Copper Brads and Hardware
Fancy Pants ~ Glitter Cuts ~ Circle Web Frame (overlay)
SU Kraft CS
MS Scallop Dot Border Punch
This layout also qualifies for a few othe challenges:
Practical Scrappers ~ Sketch
Your Next Stamp Challenges ~ Distressing
Ooh-la-la Creations ~ Anything Goes
Be sure and check out the other DT members take on the sketch, and then go have some fun with it. Remember, you can follow the sketch verbatim or you can use it for a jump start...
