Good morning everyone!!  Today we have another sketch reveal over at Sketch Along Tuesday/Frosted Designs...   And this one was created by Libeeti and there's so much you can do with it...
Here it is...
As you can see I changed it up a little...  Instead of using the 4 squares, I chose to use 2 large scallop corners cut with my Silhouette SD.
The photo is of little GS Zach taken June 11, 2011.  And he's watching his mommy very closely...  I think she has his sippy cup..

Here are a few close ups....

Here you can see the beautiful Petaloo Mixed Blooms in Mocha/Brown, part of a Prima Voila Felt Ribbon, and a Basic Grey Vine Chip Sticker..

Here I've folded the corner, did a little distressing and then added a Martha Stewart Butterfly punched from Doodlebug Beetle Black Crushed Velvet..

Here's my scrappy list of things I used on this layout...
SU Basic Black CS
BoBunny ~ Timepiece Dot
KaiserCraft ~ Ferris Wheel
BoBunny ~ Timepiece

Savannah -- little girl - big day; Sketch Along Tuesday - Frosted Designs

Please scroll down to the post below to see the Practical Scrappers Challenge Me Tuesday "Cork" Challenge and my Creative Cuts & More Layout using the Filmstrip - Large!!

Hello everyone!!!  Today is Tuesday and boy, do I have a lot going on today!!!  We have our Sketch Along Tuesday over at Frosted Designs and this week it's a 2 pager!!!  I don't do many 2 pagers, so I really had to work extra hard on this one.... But once I figured out what photos I was going to scrap, the rest just fell into place....   This weeks sketch is from 2 of our talented Design Team Members ~  Debbie Bakk and Debbie Burns and here's what they came up with....
A lot of possibilities here....  I changed up the first page just a little, but all in all stayed pretty true to the sketch...  Remember, you don't have to follow it verbatim.. Just get your inspiration from it.. but make sure we can see a little of the original sketch in your creation...
Okay a little bit about my photos...  I used last months photos of GD Savannah taken at her Kindergarten Awards Ceremony... Her Kindergarten doesn't have a graduation, so this was their big event... I was sitting so far back that some of the photos aren't very good, but since I didn't have that many I still used them for the small ones...  The one with her teacher turned out pretty good...  She told me she enjoyed her first year of school and that she really learned a lot...  I guess so, because she received an award for reading 350 books and she's just in KINDERGARTEN!!  Kids today are just too smart!!!
Here are a few close ups....

This is the left side.. and is a picture of Savannah with her teacher...  I used Webster's Pages - Your Life - Beautiful, and used the Martha Stewart Flower Bed Deep Edge Punch randomly on each side around the beautiful design in the paper...  You can also see the beautiful velvet ribbon that I framed the photo with...  The other ribbon almost matches Mrs. Owen's skirt perfectly!

Close up of the velvet ribbon....

This is the right side...  On this side I used My Mind's Eye - Lost & Found Collection... I think it matches the Webster's Pages very well.....  You can also see more of the Martha Stewart Flower Bed Deep Edge Punched Borders, Spellbinders - On The Vine Border, Prima Hydrangeas decorated with little pink centers, and a beautiful butterfly that I won from Ness over at Scrap with V..

Close up of the Spellbinders - On the Vine Border, Prima Hydrangeas with little silk flower center, and that beautiful Green Tara Butterfly from Scrap with V...

Here is my scrappy list of things I used on this layout...

Creative Cuts and More Film Strip..; Practical Scrappers Challenge Me Tuesday - Cork Challenge

Hi everyone!!!  I swear I'm loosing my mind! lol  I know I wrote this late last night, but where it posted, I don't have a clue!!
Anyway.. This is a layout I did using a Filmstrip - Large Die Cut from Creative Cuts & More...  They have so many die cuts in so many different colors and textures...  I love using them on my layouts whenever I can.. and you will too..
I also did this for the Practical Scrappers Challenge Me Tuesday "Cork" challenge..  I didn't have any cork in my scrap room, so I had to get a little creative...  I had some old coasters so I peeled the cork off, stuck it to a piece of cardstock and then ran it through the Big Shot using the Sizzix Tim Holtz Flourishes Die...  Love how it turned out... Also found some Cork Disks at my local grocery store and used those under my letters....
Now about my layout.... This is my little GS Zach taken in May...   He's wearing a bib because he is cutting teeth and drools all the time!!  You can actually see him drooling in the large photo!   This was the first time he got to spend the day with Grandma by himself... and we had a blast... He is such a sweet little guy..  We're going to have to do it again soon!!!
Here are a few close ups...
