Beach Bums ~ Practical Scrappers Rub On Challenge

Happy "Good" Friday Everyone!!
Because it's Friday, you know what that means for me ~ It's time for me to upload my layout for this weeks challenge over at Practical Scrappers!!!!  This weeks challenge it Rub Ons!!!  Even if you are not a fan of rub ons you probably have some just laying around waiting for you to use. So here's a great reason to do just that! Be sure and upload your FAB creations so that we all can see it!!!!   The deadline to enter is Saturday at 5 pm Eastern Time.
Well I wasn't a fan of rub ons either, but I really had a lot of fun with this layout.  The photos are from 1998 and they are of me and my husband when we went to Florida..  It was just the two of use and we had a blast..   The photos aren't very good,  cameras have gotten sooooooo much better than they were then, and we were soooooo much younger and soooooooo much skinnier.... lol  ..
On this layout, the Palm Trees, the 2 small orange flowers, and the 2 birds are rub-ons designed by Tip of the Brush (Tropical Time). And the title "Beach Bum" and the sun are from The Paper Studio (Travel) Rub-Ons..  I added the "s" to the word Bum, and that was just a sticker.  Here's what else I used on this layout:
SU Chocolate Chip CS
We R Memory Keepers Sunsplashed  (Designed exclusively for Archiver's)
SU Old Olive CS
Lots of stickles
Hambly Screen Prints ~ Urban Chic Frames
Footprints are from K&Company
Here are a few challenges this will qualify for:
Practical Scrappers ~ Rub-Ons
The Pink Elephant  (Their first scrapbook challenge!!!)~ Favorite Scrapbook Technique ~ Would have to be Distressing!!!!
Little Red Wagon ~ Rolling into Spring
Papertake Weekly ~ Open
Simon Says ~ Distressing
Also, if you haven't been over at the Practical Scrappers blog you will want to do that right away and see the fabulous projects the other DT members made using rub-ons...   Also I want to let you all know that right now as I type this, Practical Scrappers is looking for the next new team to begin May 1.  If you think you may even be a little interested, by all means try out!!!  You will have a blast!!!  Okay here's the info   Be sure and check it out over on the Practical Scrappers Challenge Blog too:

Good Friday Fern, I tried to look for every little rub-on detail you mentioned. It was like looking for a hidden treasure. Love the hibiscus too and how you did the pal rub ons: front and behind the pics. I was a Beach Bum when living in the island of PR. I miss it so much! Love your work.

LOL on your post.. You seem to have a lot of "sooooooooooo's" in your story...LOL This is such a great layout, I love the colors.. I lived in Florida for 20 years and wasn't much of a beach goer (scared of skin cancer).. now that I live in Finland, I miss the Florida beach sooooooooo much.. :O)

Brenda, you've did it again, another beautiful layout! I like rub-on but it's usually difficult for me to find some that I really like. When I do, I hurry up and grab them but try not to use them into I'm certain they're on the 'perfect" project (which means I usually hoard them -- lol!) Those on your LO are beautiful! And, I never would have known the "s" was a sticker and not put of the rub-on.
