Self-Portrait Challenge #1

Hi everyone!! Boy, do I have something to share with you today....  Last week I received this email from Steffie and Andrea.....

We (Andrea and Steffie) attended a workshop on self-portraits taught by Corinne Delis. To prevent forgetting any of the content, to practice and to just have fun with what we learned we had the idea to start a challenge.

What an honor..  At first I thought this was about scrapping your self portrait... but later found out that it is all about taking self portraits of yourself.... since most of us are behind the camera, this challenge is to concentrate on taking photos of us....  and then if you want to, you can edit them in different ways...  I've been wanting to learn Photoshop Elements 7, for a year now it's been on my computer, so this was perfect for me...  This is the first time I have used Photoshop to edit a photo and I think I did pretty good.....  It took awhile, but it was fun...  (Now if I can just figure out how to look thinner and younger!!!) LOL   Please check out the other Design Team's portraits over at the Self-Portrait Challenge Blog and we would love for you to play along....  It's on the first Friday of every month and we will have a new theme every month..  This months theme is tree..(shrubs, leaves, bushes.....), and you have all month to take that perfect photo and get it uploaded..  There will be a prize for one lucky participant that will be picked by random org....   Now remember, this is about you taking your own photo..  You know stretch that arm out there and shoot!!!  :o)
