SCS Inspiration Challenge - IC152 Don Li-Leger

This card was made for the SplitCoast Stampers Inspiration Challenge for today. Here is the piece that inspired me http://www.art.com/asp/sp-asp/_/PD--14478293/SP--A/IGID--3060656/Lakeside_Moonrise.htm?sOrig=CRT&sOrigId=2339&ui=291C0CEE98C349ABA5D928F6675F965D
The card is 3 1/2" by 6 3/4" - The base is Chocolate Chip and then I brayered on a piece of Glossy White CS with Going Grey, More Mustard, So Saffron and Chocolate Chip trying to get the background close to the inspiration piece. Then I cut a circle out of a piece of scrap CS using the 1 3/4" SU Circle Punch and used the piece that had the circle cut out and used it where the moon is and sponged Whisper White in the circle. Lifted my template up and there you go - a moon.. I stamped Inspired by Nature with Handsome Hunter over my brayered bg on the Glossy CS. Stamped Garden Silhouettes down the left side. The sentiment is stamped from the Hostess Set - Best Yet and is stamped with VersaMark on Whisper White CS and then embossed with Dark Brown Embossing Powder. I sponged the edges with Chocolate Chip, and then So Saffron. Punch out with the Curly Label Punch and popped up on pop dots... The little squares are cut from Really Rust... TFL
Pin It!
