FORT RILEY (also known as) CAMP GRANDMA Scrapbook Page

Hi everyone, hope you're having a wonderful Saturday. I have been on the road the last "FOUR" hours, following my dear sweet husband as he roads an old Oliver 1650 tractor from a farm auction to our place. It's only about 12 to 13 miles away, but it was pouring down rain and we started out going 3 miles an hour... OMG!!! and then we got up to 7 or 8 miles an hour. I'm so glad to be home... That's time I will never see again....

Anyway, I had this done before I left, but didn't have time to upload it until I got back, just know. You know men, when they're ready to go, they're ready to go, but you can wait on them all day long when you want to go somewhere....lol He knows I love him...
Anyway, I got the inspiration for this page from this weeks sketch from 52 Sketches ~ 52 Weeks Challenge. Check it out here. This is a fort that my DH built about a year ago. The only thing I want to do different is get a longer slide... Savannah loved it last year and is already using it again this year. For now she has to have supervision (notice the chairs), but later on when she gets a little older, all the grand kids will be climbing on it like a bunch of monkeys.... Which you know they get that from the other side of the family... lol....

Here is the recipe for this page:

SU Pacific Point CS
SU Kiwi Kiss CS
SU Summer Sun CS
SU Good Morning Sunshine DSP
Letters ~ Bubble-A-Bilities
Camp Grandma Stickers ~ Creative Imaginations from the Paper Studio
Silhouette
Plastic Flower embellishments (don't know from where)

Thanks so much for stopping by.
Come back again soon.

Hi Fern. I love your blog! I found your blog from a post on Scrapbooks ETC. website.

I am a grandmother of three and we had "camp grandma" last summer. We did something all week long. It was great fun. :) My grands are now 13, 7 and 7. I'm not sure what we will do this summer but it will be something fun for sure. :)

Your blog post says Fort Riley. Do you live there? My husband and I live in Council Grove, KS which is close to Fort Riley.

My blog is http://yourlifeisinthescrapbook.blogspot.com

I am now following your blog and will check it from time to time to see what great new layouts you've added.

Have fun scrapping!

Sharlotte
