15 and Still Sweet Layout of DD Amanda ~ Practical Scrappers inks/chalks Challenge

Hello everyone!!  It's Friday and that means time for me to upload my layout for this weeks Practical Scrappers Challenge, which is chalks/inks..  I haven't used chalks for a long time so it was fun using them on this layout.   Our sponsor for this month is Stamping Boutique.  And the Grand Prize winner will receive 2 digital stamps of their choice.  So be sure and play along with us.. They have some really cute images...
Okay on with my layout ~ The photos are of my daughter, Amanda, when she was 15 years old.  Right before the worst years of my life!!! lol  Really, I'm not kidding.  The next 5 years, off and on, were pure h#%*.... We butted heads more times than not!!   But now, I couldn't ask for a better daughter ...  I'm soooo glad we both made it through those tough years...
This also qualifies for a few other challenges which are:
Practical Scrappers ~ Inks/Chalks
Cupcake Craft Challenge ~ Round & Round - Circles
Your Next Stamp Challenges ~ A Big Bow
Ooh-la-la Creations ~ Acetate ~ the film strip
Simon Says Stamp Challenge ~ Mother's Day and/or Girly - I went with girly...
Frosted Designs ~ Technique Week ~ My favorite thing to do ~ Distressing!!!

And here is a list of what I used to create this layout:
SU Close to Cocoa CS & Ink
Basic Grey ~ Porcelain PP
Bazzill Scallop Chantilly Circle Brown CS
Raspberry Tea Collection ~ Peach Cobbler
Bazzill ~ Peach Scallop Square
The Crafter's Workshop ~ Swirls & Flowers Template
Creative Imaginations Negative Strip
Prima Painterly Petals Hydrangeas ~ Orange
Prima Flutter Vines
Paper Flowers
Ribbon
Chalks
Craft Fixative spray
Corner punch
Marvy Circle Punch
Chipboard Swirl ~ Swirlydoos Kit
Thanks so much for dropping by to take a peek.  Please go check out the projects created by the other PS DT members.. you won't be dissappointed..  And you still have time to play along, so, what are you waiting for...  Happy Scrapping!!!
Have a wonderful day!

Just awesome. And your daughter too. I know how hard it was, my eldest daughter was just the same. But now she tells me how nice and happy her childhood was. Can it be any better?

Fern.. this is another stunning LO!! Love the way you were able to use multiple pictures and love the flowers!! (I'm not telling what I am getting with my Benjamin yet...but I may just have a few more of those in LOs in the future!!)heehee!! And I am so glad to hear there is hope for the stubborn/rebellious teenagers that won't listen to reason!! My two oldest recently moved out (2 girls- 18 months apart) and I have to say, the house is so much more peaceful and I actually look forward to seeing and talking to them!! LOL!! Have a fabulous weekend!

Oh, Fern! What a beautiful layout! Your daughter is so pretty too. You and so many others are really inspiring me to do my first LO. I don't know why but I'm intimidated of doing layouts, I guess I think I won't do them well...

You did a fabulous job!
