Hello everyone..
I don't want to scare you with these pictures, but I want you to be aware that things like this can be slithering in your yard or flowerbeds. This HUGE rattlesnake was found 2 days ago in Manor, Texas. Very, very, very close to my daughter and her husband's home. With the drought so bad here in Texas and with new construction going on in that area, this BIG BOY was on the move. The news in Austin reported that they cut it open and found a rabbit inside. We all were thinking maybe a cat and small dog.. Just want everyone to please, please be very cautious and especially with your children and pets... Luckily no one was bitten by this one..
Like I said, I don't want to scare you, just want to make you aware that something like this could be anywhere.
I'll try and upload a scrapbook page tomorrow, so until then have a wonderful evening...
Hugs:o)

Wow! it must be nice to have a police department that takes its citizens safety seriously. Most police departments won't deal with these kinds of calls and would have left it up to the homeowner and their broom to shoo it away.
A rattlesnake of that stature is not a common sight. When rattlers get to that size it usually means that they are at the top of their foodchain, so to speak. And yes, they are very venomous and dangerous. Yes, have a fear of the large rattlesnakes, but to be completely honest with you The ones that are the most dangerous are the babies, and that's because they do not know how to control their venom flow. I do snake removal in and around the Austin and central Texas area. They dry weather is what is making snakes a more than usual common sight this year. If you would like to have a snake removed from your property or would just like a survey and pointers feel free to call 512-219-1476 or 512-423-9640 and ask for Sean.
