This is the third layout I've done and it's a layout of little grand daughter, Savannah. This is also one of the photos that was taken at The Smile House in San Marcos. Laura Kay Wootan takes amazing photos and my picture doesn't do it justice... But it's the best I can get, so it will have to do. I can't believe how grown up Savannah looks in this photo. So many friends and family actually thought she had make-up on.. But she doesn't, she's just a beautiful little girl... I also did this for this week's sketch challenge over at Practical Scrappers. This weeks sketch is from Ann-Katrin, and it's a pretty awesome sketch. At first I wasn't going to play, only because I didn't have a clue what to do with it, but then I remembered what a very close friend told me not so long ago.. That was the reason for the challenge in the first place.. To search within ourself, try new things, and keep at it until you like what you see!! Sometimes we have to go outside of our comfort zone. Well, that's what I did on this layout. I wasn't for sure where I was going or what it would look like when I got through with it. I know, I know, it has a lot of bling, and I didn't add a lot of layers to it, like I usually like to do, and, it doesn't look like it would have taken all day to make, but it did!!! Truth be told, I acrually like the way it turned out, and I'm sure Savannah will loooove it with all of the bling to match her princess outfit, including crown, earrings and high-heels..
This also qualifies for a few challenges, which are:Practical Scrappers ~ Sketch
Hand Full of Stamps ~ Let It Shine ~ Metal Tag - the green swirls are rolled with the SU Texture Jumbo Wheel.
Flutter By Wednesday ~ Tink Photo Inspiration ~ Savannah always says she's Tinker Bell when she's in her princess dresses..
Rainbow Lady's Challenge ~ Create a Fan ~ the embellies around the photo are in the shape of a fan.
Stamp, Scrap and Doodle Saturdays ~ Open ~ the green swirls are rolled with the SU Texture Jumbo Wheel.
Alphabet Challenge ~ S - Something Stamped ~ the green swirls are rolled with the SU Texture Jumbo Wheel.
And here's a list of the scrappy things I used on this creation:
SU Certainly Celery CS & Ink
SU Melon Mambo CS & Marker (doodling)
Doily
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist ~ Black Cherry and Pearl
Zva Crystals ~ Pink
Zve Crystals ~ Beautiful
Colorbok Metal Gift Tag ~ Princess
Sizzix flowers w/swirly vine
SU Texture Jumbo Wheel
Heart embellishment
Inkssentials Opaque Pen ~ White
Flower cluster from Swirlydoos March Kit
Basic Grey Chip Stickers with
Tim Holtz Adirondack Alcohol Ink ~ Wild Plum
Ribbon
Butterfly
Thanks so much for dropping by!!
I hope everyone has a wonderful week!!

Beautiful LO Fern and your granddaughter is lovely! Thanks for taking part in the Alphabet Challenge xx
This is a beautiful layout. My DD would love it too with all the bling and pink in it. I added instructions to my post for the paper bag album. Sorry, I am still trying to get use to describing how I put a project together. I am going to have to start taking notes when I make something because most of the time I simply sit there and stare at something and then look through my scraps/stash and find stuff to go with it and have no plan in mind.
Wow fern!! she is gorgeous a natural beauty!!! OMG I also thought she had make-up on!!Love so much the soft colors and all the detail! sweet and delicate Fern ! great job!!
