Bathing Beauty ~ Savannah; Stuck On U Sketch Challenge

Hello everyone!!!  What has happened to SPRING???   Old man winter just doesn't want to leave, And I for one, know he's worn out his welcome!!    Well, because of the cold, windy and rainy weather we are having today, I decided to hibernate in my craft studio and just scrap all day...  It's been a couple of weeks since I've played over at Stuck On U Sketches and so I decided that's what I was going to do today...  This week it's another sketch from Pagemaps, and it's a fabulous one...    I knew I had these fun photos of Savannah somewhere on my computer, I just had to find them, and then I had to find some paper to match, and then the embellies....  So it's taken me pretty much all day to make this sweet little layout of Savannah.
When DS and DDIL come over on Sundays, it's usually so late when they leave, that my DDIL just brings Colten and Savannah's night clothes and we give them their bath and dress them for bed.  Because they both fall asleep on the way home and that way she doesn't have wake them when she gets  home.  It's become a family ritual, and I always take Savannah, she's so much easier on my back.  Colten takes his bath upstairs and Savannah always wants to use the Jet tub in my bathroom.  By the time I get her hair washed and rinced, she has so many bubbles, that if I would let her, she would play forever.  Anyway, she loves to put bubbles on her chin and face and make funny faces, so this time I went and got the camera and here are a few of the photos I took.  I also found this cute bath time poem and added it to the layout there on the bathtub..  Here's what it says:

Once I'm in my bubble bath
I like to stir up more.
Half the suds go in my eyes
And half go on the floor.

The fun is in the bubbles 'cause
They giggle on my skin,
And when I stick them on my face
They dangle from my chin.

And when I splash them hard enough
They pop and disappear,
And then my bath time's over 'cause
I've made the water clear.

This poem tells it all... This is Savannah to a tee...  BTW no author was shown...
This layout also qualifies for a few blog challenges, which are:

Fern...I am in total awe of this LO!! This is just so sweet... the colors and patterns are so delicate and girly... and those pictures... so super sweet!! Love the border punch combined with the punches in each corner... and using the pictures in circles makes them look like little bubbles that are going to float right off the page!! LOVE THIS!!!

Oh - and to answer your question...no I don't sleep... who really needs it anyway?!! Sleep is so over rated!!!! lol!!

Such an awesome LO Fern!!! Loving all the details! We had that nasty weather the other day, must have finally reached your side of the country. Today was nice, that must mean you will get that too ;)

Well if Barb thinks sleep is over rated then SHE can come over and take care of my baby at night! LOL!
Fern, I love this LO but the story is better! I am spending the weekend at my Mom's. My husband doesn't get it but being at Grandma's is one of the best places on earth for my children..I didn't have grandparents to grow up with but I know what all that love means!
Makes me happy that those kids have you! (though by your photos you seem too young to me!)
So this page is extra special to me! LOVE the beautiful swirly pearls, the lovely doily and borders..and the addition of the poem is too much fun!
love it! xoxo!

Fern, this layout is just absolutely gorgeous!!! I can't say you've outdone yourself because I'd be saying it for every LO!!! My God, you're just awesome -- and you think I can to do a LO? I could never do something like this!

BTW, your weather there sounds like our weather here!!! It's it depressing?!!!

Very awesome LO! And bath pics are always the best. I usually prefer first thing in the morning or half asleep at bed time pics. Although, bath ones always come out so awesome as well. TFS!!!
