Hi everyone! This week it's time for Team "A" to show off over at Sketches In Thyme and we have a very easy challenge... It's "Open Sketch" week and that means that you get to use any sketch you like, just be sure and upload it with your layout! I decided to use one of my sketches... Here it is.... I hope you like it...
I wanted to use this sweet photo of little GS Zach I took about 2 1/2 weeks ago and I thought this layout would be perfect.. Zach is such a happy little guy and is always smiling, except when it's nap time... Does not like to take his nap. I guess he's afraid he'll miss something... :o)
Here are a few close ups
Here you can see some of the distressed edges, the punched circle, the stamped corner and the butterfly.
Here you can see the cute letters, more distressing and a metal star..
Here is a Prima Flower which I added a brad for the center... Netting sprayed with Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist, Chocolate Lace Ribbon and a Stick Pin.
Here is some more distressing, a Basic Grey chipboard bird, and more netting and ribbon..
Here are a few challenges this layout qualifies for:
Sketches In Thyme ~ Open Sketch
Anything Goes Challenge ~ Distressing
Here is the scrappy list of things I used on this layout:
SU Soft Suede CS and Ink
BoBunny ~ Cambridge Collection
My Mind's Eye ~ Lost & Found Collection

Please check out the other amazing layouts from the Design Team.. We would love for you to join in on the fun... Remember, it's "open" so you can use any sketch you like..

Hi, Fern .. I totally missed this one somehow and I've done quite a bit of blog hopping this weekend. Guess it got pushed down the blog reader. But I've also gotten some new pages done that I'll share as soon as I can with BoBunny Gabrielle .. and it is so gorgeous! It has been so beautiful and warm! The Bradford Pears are starting to bud out .. woohoo, Spring is on the way! I didn't note how many days are left on your retirement countdown but I am so happy for you!
Look at that little sweet face. Zack is adorable. Love the beautiful paper and the Prima flower. :)
