Letha's Family ~ 1938 -- Top 3 Winner over at Fairy Fun Fridays AND Winner over at Creatalicious Challenge!!

Hi everyone!!  I've had a wonderful weekend...  I did nothing but play...  and I finished 4 layouts this weekend, but this is the only one I can post for now..  The other 3 are for DT work...  Be sure and check back Thursday and Friday to see what else I created!!!  I did this layout  just for fun..  The photo is of my grandparents, my dad and my uncle...   Another fabulous photo I found in one of my grandmother's photo albums.  Notice the writing on the bottom of the photo..  My Grandmother wrote that in her later years and I was not going to crop it off..  So that's where my title comes from.... I decided I wanted to go monochromatic on this layout and I love the touch of soft pink..  I think my grandmother would have appreciated the feminine touch since she was the only female in the family for so long...  I also found a few challenges out there that this will qualify for which are:
Frosted Designs:  Recipe ~ I used:  Ribbon (lace), Flowers, Punches, Stickles (glitter), Butterflies and Pink..
Creatalicious Challenge ~ Vintage
Fairy Fun Friday ~ Photo Inspiration

Here is the list of scrappy things I used:
SU Chocolate Chip CS
Basic Grey ~ Cappella - Forte
Basic Grey ~ Cappella - Mezzo
Basic Grey Cappella ~ Chorus
Crochet doily
Bazzill ~ Pink
Ribbon ~ Lace
Crochet Flowers
MS Butterfly Punch
Stickles ~ Lime Ice
Flutter Vine
Pearls
Prima Say It In Crystals
MS Floral Vine Punch

Thanks so much for dropping by!!
Stay cool and keep hydrated during this HEAT WAVE!!!
Have a wonderful week!!
Hugs!!

You rock the scrapping world Fern - another stunner. I love the touch of pink - your GM would love it - can't imagine only having boys....

The distressing is awesome - is that a real crochet doily I can see on the page - girl you need to take close up photo's so we can drool over the details....

Hugs xx

Fern, did you hear me yelling?! Omigosh, I adore it all! I just saw this one on someone's sidebar, although I swear I never saw it on my dashboard! (Work has been a bit crazy this week, so maybe I missed it after such a long day!) I love the BG Capella papers and boy did you rock them! Love the doily and the touch of peachy-pink. Can't wait to see all the new ones!
