My Favorite Color Is DIRT And Family Trip (1999)

Happy Thursday everyone!!  I have a double post today..  The first one is for the fabulous sketch challenge over at Sketches In Thyme!  Here it is:
This weeks sketch is from Monma  and you can do so much with this one.  I hope you play along.  If you do please upload your layout so we can all see it..   Also be sure and check out the other Mavens to see the  beautiful layouts they have created using this wonderful sketch.
We also have a fabulous prize ~ Check it out!!!
I used a photo of little GS Colten taken about 2 weeks ago.  He is on his grandpa's backhoe..
Here's a list of scrappy things I used on this one:
The Paper Company ~ Double Sided Mulberry - Chocolate/Tan
Little Yellow Bicycle ~ Lucky Me - Medallions
Best Creation Inc. sprayed with
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist ~ Olive Vine over
 Happy Scrapper Template
SU Bashful Blue CS
Coffee Filter with numerous
Tattered Glimmer Mist
Cardboard rubbed with
Tim Holtz Distress Ink ~ Walnut Stain
Dusty Attic
Prima Flowers
Prima Flutter Vine
Prima Voila Felt Ribbons
Butterfly ~ Wedding Dept at Hobby Lobby sprayed with
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist
Letters are ~ Thickers and Basic Grey
Here are a few challenges this layout qualifies for:
The Crazy Challenge ~ Boys and their toys

And I also have a layout for this weeks challenge over at The Pink Elephant!  This weeks Theme Challenge is: Memorabilia - Scrap those ticket stubs, brochures, you know all the stuff you pick up while on vacation..  And that's just what I did...  This is a family vacation we took to Universal Studios back in 1999...  We had the best time...  I didn't add too much embellies, just used the brochures and stubs we picked up...  That's my son and daughter in the Jurassic Park Photo.  This was taken after they had already went down it once.. See how wet Amanda is..  We had to buy her a sweatshirt so she wouldn't freeze to death... lol..  See her in the family photo in front of the sign.. This was taken right before we left...
Here is the list of scrappy things I used:
SU Night of Navy CS
SU More Mustard CS
MS Deco Fan Border and Corner Punch
MS Garden Trellis Punch
The Paper Studio Chipboard Travel
Not for sure if this one will qualify for any challenges..  But will check later..
Be sure and check out the other fabulous layouts from the other TPE DT members, and then why not play along with us...  Remember to upload your layout so we all can see!!!
Thanks so much for dropping by!
Have a wonderful day!

OMG Fern. You really outdid yourself on these two. I love all the details in the 1st lo. The 2nd lo I love how you kept all the stubs, the parking ticket and the brochure...I thought I was the only one who did that. I love it might have to use both ideas..TFS
