Heart of Texas ~ Fall, 2008 ~~ Is this really my DD?

Hello,
Here's a page I made for my DD. These pictures are from the Heart of Texas Optimum Fitness Competition last September, 2008. She won 3rd place and we were soo proud of her. DD and DSIL have their own gym, are both personal trainers and both work very hard to maintain a healthy lifestyle. She wants to compete one more time before starting a family. "cutie" - Scrapbook Page

Hello,
Another page I got done today. I had these two pages laid out this last week, but with the little ones over here a lot I didn't get them done until today. My DS and DDIL have made it through the first week living in the motel. I think Savannah is the only one it's not bothering. I have been trying to help out as much as I can, and therefore, not getting much "play time" in. Her family is also close, so that helps, too. And it's not permanent. They have the carpenters coming tomorrow or Tuesday and they have picked out their carpet, today they're finishing itemizing everything that was damaged, so they can turn that in to the insurance company tomorrow. OMGosh with all of the toys, all the boxes in the closets and under the beds. It's a mess. Angela is holding up for the most part. Yesterday, she did break down for just a minute. Hopefully it will be back to normal in about a month...

2009 Easter Card for Colten..

Hello everyone,
Hope you had a wonderful weekend. Here is an Easter Card I made for little Colten. With everything that's gone on here, I'm just getting this uploaded now. Update on the kiddos... My DS and DDIS and little grand babies have made it through the first week of living in a Hotel room. And Grandma has made it through 3 nights with the little ones... I'm just not as young as I used to be... Little one is sleeping to 4:30 and then till 8:00, but once there both up, it's in full gear all day long... So I have a little time to "play". This was made from a lot of scraps and so I don't now the brand names of some of the papers. But here's what I do know..

So Grandma has been watching the little ones while they are trying to go through everything and get ready for the carpenters. I hate to say it, but I'm exhausted... I tried to finish this page up so that I could get it posted and I forgot to add the "A" to isle... Anyway it's an easy fix and looks great... Sorry....

Engagement - Save The Date -- 1st Page

Hello everyone...
Here is a page I made for my DD's Wedding Album... This will be the first page of the album. This is the Save the Date Card that I made for her. And here's what I used.
Save The Date:
SU Very Vanilla I played with it until I got my pattern.
I stamped the petals with SU Floral in Bravo Burgundy.
I printed the top and bottom from the computer on vellum
and then scored around rectangle so that the petals would fold in.
The inside card is Very Vanilla stamped with SU Filigree in Always Artichoke.
Then I added a layer of Bravo Burgundy CS
and then I stamped the calender in Close to Cocoa on Very Vanilla.
I printed everything from the computer,
and then added the little heart jewel on the wedding date and a magnet on the back
The inside card is made so that you can put it on your fridge..
