100% Pure Country ~ Stuck On U Sketches

Hi Everyone!!  It's Friday and that means it's time for another sketch reveal over at Stuck On U Sketches..  And this awesome sketch was designed by our own Leah and here it is!!

And so for my take on it I had to use these cute photos of Grandson Colten.  He had his picture taken awhile back at daycare and they just came in and I couldn't wait to scrap them...  He is such a cutie in his hat that's 2 sizes too big for him!!  lol

Here are a few close ups

This is a recycled raffia bow from a gift package.. I added a couple of the Tim Holtz idea-ology Sprocket Gears and used a brad for the center.

Another Tim Holtz idea-ology Sprocket Gear, Thickers, a portion of the corrugated cardboard, and part of the Cricut title cut with Country Life Cartridge.

This layout will also qualify for the following challenge(s)..
For Fun Challenge ~ Make a Scrap Page
Here is a list of scrappy things I used...
Stampin' Up Cardstock  ~ Black
Stampin' Up Cardstock ~ More Mustard
Graphic 45 ~ Botanicabilla Collection -- Birds of Paradise
Kaiser Craft ~ Up Up and Away Collection -- Rollercoaster
Recycled Corrugated Cardboard
Magic Mesh
Tim Holtz Distressing Ink
Recycled Raffia
Tim Holtz idea-ology Sprocket Gears
Cricut Country Life Cartridge

Be sure and check out SOUS (Stuck On U Sketches) for more inspiration!!
And just a reminder - We still have our Die Cut Challenge going on through next Thursday!  So while your over at SOUS be sure and check that out too!!
Thanks for dropping by!
Have a wonderful day!
Hugs!!!

I love how you made the sketch work for "country" photos. It looks like it was made for your photos! Love how you used the gears to give it a rough and tough boy feel. Great page.

Thanks for creating a scrap book page for For Fun Challenges. Hope to see you next Wednesday for the new challenge.
