CKC Workshop Layout ~ Amanda at 3 years..

Hi everyone!!  I hope you are having a wonderful day!!  This weekend is Creative Keepsakes Scrapbook Convention in San Marcos, Texas.  This is my 3rd year to go and it most definitely won't be my last!!  I love to take the classes but most of all I love shopping at all of the vendor's booths!!!!!

So anyway, one of the classes I took was a class called "Get Tickled Pink With Mixed Media"...  Let me tell you, WOW, in one hour we were supposed to make 2 gorgeous layouts..  But me being a sloooow scrapper, I didn't even get through with the first one... And even though the "kits/packages" she furnished us had so many wonderful goodies in it, that just using those along would have been plenty,  I still love to add my own touches to my layouts, so I was glad to finish this one here at home...  And also, it's hard for me to finish a layout without knowing what picture I'm going to use.  This one is made for multiple photos, but I chose to use just one...

The photo is of my DD Amanda back in 1985 when she was 3 years old...  Such a cutie!!!

Here are a few close ups...

Here you can see some Distressing, some Masking, Tulle, Paper Flower and Leaves, Fiber, and Webster's Bloomer.....

Here you can see more Distressed Edges, more Masking, Large and Small Paper Flowers, Webster's Bloomer, Chipboard Bird, Donna Salazar Chipboard Birdcage distressed with Crackle Paint, Tulle, Ribbon, Twine, Clock was stamped and cut out with metal center added.. and a couple of Stick Pins.

This layout also qualifies for a few challenges...

[I'm sad to say this is their last challenge:o( ]
Charisma Cardz Challenge ~ Things with Wings
Crafting For All Seasons ~ Things with Wings
Divas By Designs ~ Lovely Layers
Fab 'n' Funky ~ Things with Wings
Creative Craft Challengs2 ~ Anything Goes

I'm sorry I don't know what brand of papers I used....  The smaller pieces were already cut, and I cut the tab off of the full sheet and instead of putting it in my scrap tote, I thru it away!! :o(  But I can tell you what I added extra..

The brown cardstock layer...
Masking....  I picked up this brand new small doily mask at one of the booths and couldn't wait to use it...
Stick Pins and beads....
Chipboard bird...
Metal center of the clock...
Extra Leaves.....
And of course the the photo..

Thanks so much for dropping by!!
I can't wait to start on the other one and I will be sure and share it when I'm thru!!
Have a wonderful day!!
Hugs!!!
