Attached all the layers together. Stamped Heart from Always with VersaMark on Riding Hood Red and then embossed in White. Cut out and then cut another heart out of the Doodlebug Crushed Velvet, layered and popped up on pop dots. Added Faux pearls and Ribbon.

We Grow Great By Dreams..

Hello, here's another card I made today. Because my daughter and her husband are getting to live their dream. And we hope it's for a long, long, time. I made this card to give to them when they get through remodeling and have their Grand Opening. I think the sentiment is very appropriate. Anyway, this is how I put it together.
Base Card is Chocolate Chip. Next layer is Apricot Appeal. Punch the corners with decorative corner punch, sponged with Chocolate Chip ink, paper pierced the edges and stamped it with Crosshatch BG Stamp in Chocolate Chip. The image is from Dreams du Jour and is stamped in Chocolate Chip on Apricot Appeal, and then cut out. Punched a Circle out with the large SU Circle Punch and layered these two layers. Cut Apricot Appeal and Chocolate Chip out with nestabilities and layered. Punched the leaves out with the MS Leaf Punch out of Old Olive. Added the paper flower with brad center, brads in the corners and ribbons..
Thanks so much for looking...
Have a great weekend.

Happy Wishes - PB Teen - Mariposa Garden

Hi there! First of all, I want to say Happy Birthday, Amanda... 27 years old today.... Boy, do I feel just a little old... Okay, enough about the age..lol
Here is the card I made for today's SCS Inspiration Challene, which was Pottery Barn Teen Website. I have my inspiration picture by my card... Here is what I used.
Base card is Gable Green.
Next is a layer of Pixie Pink, punched corners with EK Success Decorative Corner Punch. Doodled around the edges with White Signo Pen.
Next is a layer of dp that I got when I first starting scrapbooking. I was looking for a lot of little girl paper, because at that time, Savannah was just born. So I used something old today... I will have to be sure and tell my DH about this... he will be soo proud of me...
The image is from Hero Arts and called Happy Wishes, go figure.. I used numerous SU markers to color the image and stamped it on Whisper White. Cut with the nestabilities, and layered on Bashful Blue. Used the bashful blue brads on this layer. Added ribbon... and there you have it... I am sooo ready for Spring, can you tell? Even though it's not that cold here in Texas, I would just like to see some beautiful color....
Thanks so much for taking time to look...
Have a great weekend..

"SMOOCH" Valentine's Day Card

Hi!!
Here is another card I made for today's SCS Limited Supplies Challenge.. Non-Cheesy Valentines.... (Actually, this maybe just a little teeny bit cheesy...) But it's still cute... Anyway I think it is... We were limited to colors - Red, White, Black, Kraft, and Pinks. Limited to embellishments, Limited in layers, Limited on hand cutting, and was to be just a card front... So this is way I did....
The "LIPS" are from a cookie cutter I found at the grocery store today. I knew just what I was going to do with them when I saw them.. I am going to make a card, and then I can make some cookies to match... What a cute idea for a Valentine's gift.. Anyway, this is what I did.
I used Basic Black, Red Hearts DP, Basic Black, and cut with nestabilities. Traced the lips onto the back of the Red Glitter DP and cut them out. Layered on the Basic Black. Sentiment is from A Happy Heart and I stamped on the Red Hearts DP with VersaMark and then embossed in Black. Wasn't for sure if it would catch on fire, melt, or what, but, as you can see, it did just fine. Punched with the SU Oval Punch, and then added the Basic Black and Red Hearts DP layer. These are popped up on pop dots. Added the little red jewel hearts to the other 3 corners. And the "smooch" are chipboard glitter letters.....
Have a wonderful weekend, stay warm, and thanks so much for looking...

Upsy Daisy in Starlight.. Oh, I mean, 5 Petal Flower Punch Light..

Hi there,
I made this card for the SCS Ways to Use It Challenge today. We were to use a star or stars in our design in the way of star die-cuts, stamps, brads, SHAPES, star designs on patterned paper, etc.. I decided to use the shape of the star as in the SU 5 Petal Flower Punch. Here's what I came up with:
Base Card is Tempting Turquoise.
Next is a layer of Basic Black.
Next is a layer of DP from DCWV called All Dressed Up Stack.
Stamped my image from Upsy Daisy right on the dp with VersaMark, and then embossed in black. Added a few stickles to make them shine... You know me I have to add something glittery on all of my cards...lol.
Punched the 5 petal flower out of the same dp, stamped sentiment from Fresh Cuts with VersaMark and imbossed in black, too. Sponged around the edges with Black. I took that little took that SU used to sell, you know, that it has about 4 or 5 little metal circles and you put your pencil in the center hole and trace round the edge of you image to make another layer. Well, that's what I did with the Flower, I traced it over black and then layered the two layers. Popped this up on pop dots, and then added stickles around the black cs. Added ribbon and jewels.
Thanks so much for looking.
Have a great evening....
