Hello, here's another card I made today. Because my daughter and her husband are getting to live their dream. And we hope it's for a long, long, time. I made this card to give to them when they get through remodeling and have their Grand Opening. I think the sentiment is very appropriate. Anyway, this is how I put it together.
Base Card is Chocolate Chip. Next layer is Apricot Appeal. Punch the corners with decorative corner punch, sponged with Chocolate Chip ink, paper pierced the edges and stamped it with Crosshatch BG Stamp in Chocolate Chip. The image is from Dreams du Jour and is stamped in Chocolate Chip on Apricot Appeal, and then cut out. Punched a Circle out with the large SU Circle Punch and layered these two layers. Cut Apricot Appeal and Chocolate Chip out with nestabilities and layered. Punched the leaves out with the MS Leaf Punch out of Old Olive. Added the paper flower with brad center, brads in the corners and ribbons..
Thanks so much for looking...
Have a great weekend.
Fern

Hi Joan, I have tried to send you comments, but my computer just kicks me out.. And when I try to go to your blog, I can't get through.... Anyway, I'm going to try again.. I live between Lockhart and Bastrop on Highway 86.. Actually I'm 2 miles south of McMahan. I know we go through Temple when we go back to Oklahome, but not for sure how far it is.. I just love your blog, you do gorgeous work... I'm just a little envious of you, being retired and getting to stamp anytime you want. lol. Would love to keep in touch...
