Hi everyone! Hope you had a wonderful 4th! We had the kids and grand babies out yesterday and had a great time!! This is the first time little GS Zach has been to the country and as you can see, he was not impressed!! But Grandpa and Grandma were pretty impressed with him... Savannah and Colten were so excited when he got here.. Savannah wanted to hold him all the time and little Colten just wanted to poke him... So needless to say little Zach spent a lot of time in his bouncer up on the counter top out of reach from little Colten... lol..
For this layout I went with the sketch over at Stuck On U Sketches.. They also had a red, white and blue color challenge that you could use if you wanted to... Boy was that a hard one... I didn't go patriotic but instead wanted to do a baby layout and since the blue went with a little boy, and Zach had on a little red onsie, I think I pulled it off pretty well...
Here are a few other challenges this will qualify for:
Stuck On U Sketches ~ Sketch and Color Combo - red, white & blue
Alphabet Challenge ~ J for Jewels
Crafty Catz ~ Distressing
Scrap/Inspire/Create ~ Men In Our Lives ~ I went with baby boy (1 week old GS Zach) and a twist to use chipboard.. (Frame)
One Stop Craft Challenge ~ Distressing
Ooh la la Challenge ~ Simply Summer
Craftalicious Challenge ~ Cute - you can't get any cuter than a little baby!!
Quirky Crafts Challenge ~ Ribbon
Pile It On ~ Favorite Things ~ Distressing and Bling~~
Simon Says Challenge ~ Check it out ~ use checks, gingham or plaid - I used gingham ribbon.
Frosted Designs ~ Red, White and Blue and stars and stripes... Oh wow I can't believe I missed this one.... My stipes are in the ribbon and the star is little Zach!!!! (hope that counts) Thanks Barb!!!!!
Here is the list of scrappy things I used:
SU Real Red CS
Next 2 layers I don't know the names (sorry)
The Paper Studion ~ Crinkled Red
Petaloo Mulberry Street ~ Giant Daisys ~ Red
Creative Imaginations ~ Marah Johnson ~ Crimson Brad
Red Jewels
Doily
SU Baja Breeze Ink
Tattered Angels Glimmer Mist ~ Pearl
Prima Say It In Pearls ~ Blue
Chipboard Scallop Frame
SU Whisper White Ink
