Christmas 1981 ~ Stuck On U Die Cut Challenge #2 (Theme is Sky)

Hi everyone!!  It's time for our next Die Cut Challenge reveal over at Stuck On U Sketches!!  This time our theme is "sky".  You are to make any project using a die cut of something(s) you can see in the sky..  I really had fun with this one..  Since it's been so darn hot and dry here in Texas I decided to scrap a photo of my son Levi when he was 2 year old, at Christmas, 1981.  This is the year he got his "horse" for Christmas.  Let me tell you...  both of my kids looooved that little horse...  They could get him bouncing so hard that he would actually move on the carpet.... Kinda sad when they outgrew him...
Here are a few close ups...

Here's my little cutie... It doesn't seem like in 2 1/2 months he will be 32 years old...
You can alse see the MS punched borders, Glittered DA Snowflakes with jewels, and some sewing...

Some Christmas Stickers, Music Sheet and some Magic Mesh..

Here's my die cut of santa in sleigh and some of the reindeer from the Christmas Noel Cricut Cartridge..

Here's the rest of the die cut and I also cut "Christmas" out of the same cartridge..  The year are glitter letter stickers.

This layout also qualifies for the following challenges..
Crop Stop ~ Anything Goes
Dutch Dare Challenge ~ Anything But A Card
DYSU Challenge ~ Boy or Man

Here is my list of scrappy things I used....
Stampin' Up Basic Black Cardstock

  2. I LOVE the sleigh & reindeer die cut!

How funny...my brother had one of those horses when he was little & BOTH of us would ride it at the same time. We often "rode" it all the way across the room LOL! It's still at "Grandma's" & the grandkids love to ride it now.

I know you probably thought I'd forgotten you, but that's not going to ever happen. I do sneak in every now and then to take a "peek"... LOL! Sorry I don't leave a comment on those occassions but I'm usually just running through the neighborhood.

Anyway, wanted to say "hi" and let you know you are in my thoughts!
