Hello everyone!! As a Practical Scrapper DT Member my projects will be posted on Friday for the weekly challenge, and remember Fridays is also the Sketch Challenge!! This weeks challenge at Practical Scrappers is to use Die Cuts of any kind. Here are just a few things you can use: Cricut, Spellbinders, Nestabilities, QuicKutz, Sizzix, Ellison, or maybe you have some just laying around. I used a piece of die cut paper on this layout of my little granddaughter, Savannah, and the photo was just taken last week. Her little brother Colten came down with a very nasty virus and they called and asked me if I would take her for the night so she wouldn't come down with it. Of course, I agreed. She is a lot of fun now that she is older, so grown up, most of the time... The "horse" that she is riding on, is something I bought around Christmas, and Grandpa just put it up a couple weeks ago.. They have had a lot of fun with it so far... Okay, here's what I used on this layout:
Basic Grey ~ Porcelain ~ Bellamy
Basic Grey ~ Porcelain ~ Silver Birch
Making Memories ~ Die Cut ~ Dot Findings
The Paper Element ~ Hot Chocolate Mocha
Prima Flutter Vines
Prima Painterly Petals ~ Hydrangeas
Prima Say It in Pearls
Spellbinders Megabilities ~ Long Classic Rectangel
Spellbinders Megabilities ~ Long Scallop Rectangel
Jenni Bowlin Studio ~ Mini Bingo Cards
Nestabilities Classic Scallop Circle
Transparent Overlay
Ribbon
Buttons
Twine
Ellison Design ~ Curlie Girlie Die Cut Letters
This layout also qualifies for a few other challenges which are:
Practical Scrappers ~ Die Cuts
Cute Card Thursday ~ Spots & Dots.
Simon Says Stamp Challenge ~ Inspiration from (Rose) photo
The challenge ends Saturday at 5:00 PM ET, so come on and get to scrapping.. You can make a card, layout or any project, just use a die cut or cuts, and then upload it on Mr. Linky so we all can see it...
Thanks so much for dropping by!!
Have a wonderful day!!
And please drop back by anytime!!
Hugs :o)

ReplyDeleteSimply adorable!
ReplyDeleteYou did a nice job on this. I like how you echoed the circles from the BG paper with your photo elements. I would ahve struggled with this paper because the circles look like spider webs when you look at them too long but you really wowed them!
ReplyDeleteLooks like she is enjoying that horse!! I think this is my favorite LO so far!! I love everything about this LO, especially love the colors...and all the embellishments. Sheryl K
