Hi everyone! Here is a layout I did on my daughter, Amanda when she was 4 years old. She's now 28, yes, I know, I'm just a tad behind!! This was 1986 and the Cabbage Patch Dolls had just come out, and boy was it hard to get a little blonde headed one, but I did and she still has it today. This is my first layout to do as Practical Scrappers DT Member. This weeks challenge is to use at least 1 Patterned Paper. I just used the one, but it still qualifies. It also qualifies for this weeks challenge over at Creative Belli Challenge, which is hearts. Please go check out both challenges and play along with us. I also did this layout for a few other challenges, which are:
Practical Scrappers ~ At least 1 Patterned Paper
Creative Belli Challenge ~ Heart(s)
A Spoon Full of Sugar ~ Free Style
Ooh-la-la ~ Distressing
Creative Inspirations ~ Feminine
Little Red Wagon ~ Heart(s)
2 Red Bananas ~ Create your own Background
Incy Wincy Designs ~ Buttons, Bows, Ribbon & Lace
Gingersnap Creations ~ Number(s)
Simon Says ~ New Baby (this was a new baby for Amanda)
Here's the supplies that I used:
SU Real Red CS & Ink
Doodle Bug, Designs ~ Beetle Black-Crushed Velvet CS
sei Winter Song Collection
The Paper Studio ~ Solid Glitter Red
SU Simple Friendship Stamp
VersaMark
Zing Black EP
Fancy Pants Glitter Cuts ~ Oval Snow Frame - I used 2 of these around the photo
Decorative Lace Trim
Ribbon
Fabric Covered Buttons
Thickers ~ Chipboard Letters ~ Rainboots
Thickers ~ Chipboard Letters ~ Jewelry Box
I hope you like the layout I created. I would love to hear what you think of it.
Thanks so much for dropping by!
Have a wonderful day/evening!
Please drop back by anytime!!
Hugs :o)

ReplyDeleteOh my Fern, what a gorgeous layout - all the elements go so well together, you certainly have an eye for detail...
ReplyDeleteAs for the Cabbage Patch Doll, my daughter, also 28, did not have one, they were soooooo expensive in the UK back then, that she never got one, and she now says she was a deprived child of the 80's because she never had one...!!!
Hugs xx
