BUSTED!!

Hi everyone... Every time I look at these pictures I have to laugh. This was taken of sweet little Savannah on May 27, 2007. She found her Grandpa's money he kept behind his chair. When she finally realized that we were watching her, the look on her face was priceless... just like the "deer in the headlight" look. lol. And later that evening I was doing laundry and came back in the den, and low and behold she was having the time of her life playing with his money.. She had it all over the floor, and throwing it up in the air, and just laughing... Her grandpa told her she was just like her grandma, the only difference was grandma could get a lot more money in her hands...lol.. I thought the pictures would make a great lo for the sketch challenge at 52 Sketches ~ 52 Weeks Here's what I used:

In this photo of you, you can't even tell that you had surgery when you were 6 weeks old for a cleft pallet. We were so very scared for you because you were so tiny (10 pounds). Happy Father's Day Card

Hello everyone,
Here's a card I made my Dad for Father's Day. We're leaving Friday to go back and see both sides of our families, so I decided I wanted to give him his card in person instead of mailing it later. I was using ep on this paper for a Graduation Card that I made for a friend's son and decided it's perfect for a masculine card, so decided to try it out on my dad. What do you think. I think he'll love it. Here's what I used.
Card Recipe:
Base is SU Basic Black CS
Next is a layer of artsy-licious Fine Engraved Chocolate DP.
Stamp set ~ Noble Deer, stamped with VersaMark and embossed with black ep.
Sentiment is from Inkadinkado and stamped with VersaMark and embossed with black ep.
Punched with SU Large Oval Punch and layered on SU Basic Black CS.
Added brads and Ribbon.
Hope you have a wonderful evening.

So Curious

Hello everyone.. I'm finally getting back in the groove of scrap booking. I had a wonderful time at the North Texas Shoebox Swap. When we got home Sunday afternoon I went to check on our cats, Hershey and Bubba. My husband noticed that Hershey had an abscess sore about the size of a quarter on her throat and it looked like it was actually rotting out, the center was black. She didn't seem to be in any pain, but it looked absolutely awful. Rick told me he didn't think she would last through the night, and he was right. It was a very sad moment for me. She was just like one of the kids. So anyway, I didn't feel like scrapping yesterday.. I talked with my daughter on the phone and we both cried and laughed at all of the wonderful memories of Hershey. She was 18 years old, and had a wonderful life.
So today I did 2 layouts, since I'm behind with last weeks sketch from 52 Sketches ~ 52 Weeks. This is for Sketch #21. And next week we are going on vacation. This is a page of little Colten. He's growing up way too fast... This was a couple weeks ago. Here's what I used.
Page recipe:
SU Chocolate Chip CS
SU Baja Breeze CS
SU Parisian Breeze DSP
Paper Bliss ~ Monkeying Around Stickers
Scrap Metal Letters
Ribbon
Thanks so much for taking a peek.
Have a wonderful evening.
